CCIP 2.0 configurability for regulated institutions

Whale Factor says CCIP 2.0 adds optional third-party verifiers, faster-than-finality transfers, and a compliance engine aimed at regulated institutions. ETHNews reports the launch extended the LINK advance and the Wyoming Stable Token Commission moved its FRNT stable token to Chainlink CCIP.

Whale Factor calls the optional verifiers an admission that the pure version of the pitch did not sell to balance-sheet institutions. It adds that those checks do not belong to Chainlink, changing the security model from pure decentralization.
