Three ways points arrive.
Spending on Travel
Collect 5 points per $1 on hotel stays, or 10 points per $1 with Mo Plus. This starts from your first dollar, with no minimum.
Inviting other people
Both sides collect points when someone you invite starts using Mo. Referral rewards are capped, because they are acquisition spend rather than shared margin.
Redeeming
Four places points can be spent.
Travel checkout
Apply points at checkout to bring the price of an order down.
Bank withdrawal fees
Offset the fee when you move money out to a bank, all the way down to nothing.
Buying Mo Plus
Buy a Mo Plus term with points, with USDC, or with a mix of the two.
Mystery Stock
Spend 1,000 points to open a Mystery Stock and receive 0.01, 0.1 or 1 of one of these Coinbase tokenized stocks, delivered to your wallet.
The boundary
What Mo Points are not.
Points are a rewards balance, not money. They cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
Points never expire, and they are not transferable between people.
Points cannot be used for sending, receiving, adding money, converting, or Earn deposits. Earn yield is separate: that is real USDC and it is yours to withdraw.
Points need a Mo account. Wallet-only users booking through Coinbase Wallet neither collect nor redeem.

What are Mo Points?

How many points do I get?
Hotel stays give 5 points per dollar, or 10 with Mo Plus. A portfolio above the minimum shown on this page qualifies for a daily award. Referrals reward both you and the person you invite.
How do I collect points?

Where can I spend points?
In four places: Travel checkout, the bank withdrawal fee, a Mo Plus term, and a Mystery Stock for 1,000 points (mobile app only, in eligible regions). Points cannot pay to send, receive, add money, convert, deposit into Earn, or buy the Mo Plus add-on at Travel checkout.
How do referrals work?
Share your invite. You both get points once the person you invited collects their first qualifying award. You can collect up to 10 referral awards a month. Each invited person collects one, only once.
Do points expire?
No. Points stay in your balance until you spend them.
Can I withdraw or transfer points?
No. Points cannot be cashed out, sent to someone else, or swapped for USDC. Earn yield is different: it is real money, and you can withdraw it anytime.
