Mo Points and Mo Plus: A Complete Guide

Mo has two reward mechanics and they work together. Mo Points are what you collect. Mo Plus is a fixed term you buy that makes points arrive faster and Mo’s own fees smaller.

What a point is worth

One Mo Point is worth $0.01 when you spend it inside Mo. That rate does not float and it does not change with the market.

Points are a rewards balance, not money. They never expire, they are not transferable between people, and they cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for USDC or cash. They pay for things inside Mo and nowhere else.

Do not confuse points with Earn yield. Yield from a vault is real USDC sitting in your own wallet, withdrawable whenever you want. Points are not.

Three ways to collect

Holding a balance. A portfolio above the minimum value shown on the Points page is eligible for a daily award. The floor exists because holding rewards are meant for balances that are actually doing something.

Spending on Travel. Hotel stays pay 5 points per dollar, or 10 per dollar on a Mo Plus term. There is no minimum: this starts from your first dollar.

Inviting other people. Both sides are credited after the person you invited collects their first qualifying award, whether that is a portfolio award or a Travel purchase. A referrer can collect up to 10 referral awards per month. A referee collects one, once, for life.

Points need a Mo account. If you book travel through Base App with your own wallet and no Mo account, you neither collect nor redeem.

Four places to spend

WhereWhat it does
Travel checkoutBrings the price of a booking down.
Bank withdrawal feeOffsets the fee, as far down as nothing.
Buying Mo PlusPays for a term, on its own or mixed with USDC, from the Mo Plus screen.
Mystery Stock1,000 points opens one. Mobile only, in eligible regions.

That list is exhaustive. Points cannot pay for sending, receiving, adding money, converting, Earn deposits, or the Mo Plus add-on offered inside Travel checkout.

How Mo Plus changes things

Mo Plus comes in fixed terms: 30 days for $5, or 360 days for $50. You can pay in USDC, in Mo Points at $0.01 each, or split across both from the Mo Plus screen. The 360-day add-on offered inside Travel checkout is USDC only.

Third-party network and routing costs are not Mo’s fees and still apply on both tiers.

Nothing renews automatically, so there is no cancellation to remember. Buying another term extends the one you hold rather than replacing it. Buying Mo Plus never awards points back, and the add-on price is excluded from the spend a Travel purchase accrues points on.

Leaving Mo Plus

Exiting ends the membership and refunds every term you still hold, returned in the same mix of USDC and points you paid with.

A first exit within 3 days of purchase is refunded in full, and that full refund is available once in a rolling year. Later exits are prorated for the unused part of each term, with a floor: Mo keeps at least 10% of list price, or one day of the term, whichever is larger. Benefits you already used stay yours.

Flights are not bookable yet, so the flight multiplier is part of the Mo Plus contract but is not being awarded today.
