What is ULc?
ULc is a Coinbase tokenized representation of Unilever (UL), using the ERC-20 standard on Base. Trading, when available, is limited to eligible non-US persons. Unilever sells consumer-staples brands spanning food, home care and personal care.
What to weigh
- The token can lose value as the reference share price changes, and its market price may differ from that share price.
- Blockchain transfers depend on the network and wallet address; confirmed transfers may be difficult or impossible to reverse.
- A token does not always represent the same share amount. For cash dividends and stock splits, Coinbase updates an onchain multiplier while the token balance stays the same. Cash dividends are converted into additional underlying shares rather than paid as cash; a split changes the share price and multiplier in opposite directions. Mo uses the multiplier to display the share amount. See how B20 handles dividends and splits.
